It was as if my random act of kindness somehow presented me with the both means and opportunity (added with already motive) for me to travel to Raleigh (on the other side of North Carolina to see a night owl smoker!). I kid you not, work schedules changed, funds were won. Scapa's knowledge of her city was instrumental in me selecting a very nice (bordering on upscale) SW friendly locale (just as importantly for her). Being a multi-hour drive from GA, traveling the day before allowed me the chance to actually be on time for a four hour visit Saturday mid-afternoon . Non-VIPers have read all this and are asking "Was she really worth all this?" My response is "Scapa is/was/will be worth every moment of time and effort.
